Frim-Fram plays versatile and swinging blues with a capturing touch. In the repertoire of this ensemble that sounds bigger than it's actual size there are both stylish originals and cover-classics. Two vocalists, saxophone, guitar, stompbox and a harp guarantee an exceptionally solid groove that makes the audience to enjoy and dance!

Frim-Fram Quartet offers a colourful setting of music, in the leading role of which there's blues in its different forms. The full bodied sound of this band is a bit bigger than you could imagine. Juki, who has also been named Finlands best male jazz vocalist, plays also guitar and rough blues harp.
Saxophonist Sirpa, who has a sound palette that reaches from soft smokey to rootsy growl is also the second lead vocalist and background vocalist.
Originality and size to the sound gives Harri Taittonen with his hammond organ, taking also care of the bass lines and background vocals.
Drummer Mikael Seire controls the whole scale of the afro american rhythm music gives the sound it's last polish.
Frim-Fram has toured clubs and festivals in the last four years. First album "Let's Talk!" was released 2015, and new cd "Wake Up!" was released 9.2. 2019 in the legendary Semifinal club in Helsinki!
Nine times magazine Jazzrytmit critics poll winner in the category of the best Finnish male jazzvocalist, Juki Välipakka has also received praising reviews from the press for his performances for example with Ad Lib Quintet, Heikki Sarmanto and The Great Helsinki Swing Big Band.
He has also performed in musical productions in Helsinki City Theatre, Järvenpää Theatre, and Åbo Swedish Theatre.
He has graduated as a vocal teacher from Stadia AMK, and has been teaching in various music schools (Helsinki Pop Jazz Conservatory, Stadia AMK, Sibelius Academy).
He plays guitar, percussion, harp, and also composes and writes lyrics

Sirpa Suomalainen is a versatile musician whose instruments are tenor- and altosaxophone, flute and altoflute. As a freelance musician she has played with various bands, and has been working in musical productions in Järvenpää Theatre.
She has graduated from Stadia AMK as a music pedagog, and has been teaching in various music schools. She teaches flute and saxophones, theory and also leads student bands.

Harri Taittonen is a virtuoso keyboardist who is knows his way around with every style in afro-american music tradition. He is at home both in studio and in a gig. He works as a freelance musician, and has played amongst the others in such bands as The Rooty Toot Toot Band, Erja Lyytinen Band, Q.Stone, Dirty Dogs (UK), Ray Rich Band (UK).

Mikael Seire is a very versatile drummer and freelance musician from Helsinki, Finland. He has studied in Helsinki Pop Jazz Conservatory in Finland and in Vienna and Graz in Austria.
Mikael has played in many different housebands and in theaters and televison. He plays drums on many Finnish CDs.
